Dazer Laser® STEALTH is a compact, multi-spectral, multi-functioning laser system which provides the operator with an Optical Distractor (visible – green), Visible (green or red) Pointer, IR Pointer, IR Illuminator and White LED capabilities “all-in-one”. The STEALTH utilizes the patented Variable Range & Variable Focus Optics™ technology (automated in the STEALTH) to allow for SAFE and EFFECTIVE visual impairment from 1 – 1000 meters as an Optical Distractor or an IR Illuminator. In addition, the Visible Pointer and IR Pointer can target designate out to 2000 meters and the white LED (150 lumen) has a range out to 50 meters. An additional “Dual Mode” allows the STEALTH to operate simultaneously as an IR Pointer and IR Illuminator. The STEALTH incorporates a unique LED Screen that indicates the range of the current engagement in the Optical Distractor or IR Illuminator modes.

As found in the GUARDIAN, the STEALTH’s Optical Distractor temporarily impairs the vision of the threat(s) by eliminating their ability to see, engage and/or effectively target the operator. Due to the operator’s ability to automatically adjust the Optical Distractor or IR Illuminator’s range of engagement, the operator can visually impair, assess, deter, suppress, illuminate, hail & warn, target and/or communicate with the threat(s) to clarify intent and potentially avoid escalation to more lethal engagements.

Integrating all of these capabilities into one compact system allows the Warfighter to meet ALL mission critical requirements in one system, versus the need for an Optical Distractor, a separate AN/PEQ15 or AN/PEQ-16, and separate White LED. When mounting each of these in separate positions on the weapon, the operator has almost two pounds of equipment, separate firing triggers, more batteries and higher costs. This is no longer necessary with the “all-in-one” Dazer Laser® STEALTH!
